Stroll on the banks of the Vidourle - An easy hike, from the banks of the Vidourle via the manades. Stop at Barbut's hammer maker; valves which are used to manage the circulation of water in the canals which irrigate cultivated fields. The hole that houses these valves is often made of cut stone. The chemin des Mas - Stroll along the small roads and paths to discover, at the bend of the trail, a peaceful manade in the middle of meadows. Distance: 9,3 km -

This rambling network exists throughout the Gard department. The panel helps to locate and inform at each point of departure (In Saint-Laurent d’Aigouze the information board is Place de la République near the church).
A guidemap "Terre de Camargue" is on sale at the Tourist Office for 5 €. It lists a multitude of walking loops and indicates the greenways (specially designed for bicycles, rollerblading or pushchairs). The user can either choose one of the written suggestions or compose his "à la carte" itinerary.
Greenways - Cycling freely
Greenways have been developed with the aim of encouraging ecological travel all over the region. These facilities are completely protected and closed to motor vehicles, enabling visitor a safe and peaceful journey over relatively level ground, offering an invitation to discover the landscapes, each one at its pace .... Hikers, cyclists, rollers, people with reduced mobility, stroller, scooter, skate ... they are accessible to all and totally secured for activities with children! Car parks are available on each departure and arrival location.
Starting from the Tour Carbonnière:
One greenway connects, in perfect continuity, along the canal Saint-Laurent d'Aigouze to Gallician. Its departure is opposite the Tour Carbonnière. Distance: 9 km
Still from the Tour Carbonnière, in the other disrection, the greenway passes through Aigues-Mortes (6 km) until the Grau du Roi (+6 km) and even, for the bravest, until the Espiguette (+ 5 km).
